Jayme’s Earth Altering journey
One of the most fulfilling parts of my work has been supporting others to bring collaborative Earth Altars into their own offerings, witnessing this practice take root and evolve in beautiful, unexpected ways across the world.
My 1:1 coaching sessions have become one of my favourite ways to connect with my community, where I share the tools and wisdom I’ve gathered through my own events while being endlessly inspired by the creativity and love my clients bring to their own communities.
Each Earth Altar gathering is uniquely shaped by the land it’s created on, the people who show up, and the facilitator’s own connection to the Earth, but no matter the form, each one carries the same deeper purpose: to come into presence with nature through intention, creativity, and ritual.
It’s been incredibly inspiring to see this practice ripple out into spaces I never would have imagined.
Meet Jayme from @theroseresonance:
Like many women, Jayme intuitively started creating Earth Altars a few years ago before even knowing what they were. She started delving deeper into the practice through my Online Course, creating weekly altars in the woods by herself and had facilitated a few group altars at yoga studios.
Jayme had already been holding space for others through yoga, gongs and workshops. She is newer to facilitating ceremonial spaces but felt a deep calling to share more in this way. Her goal was to learn how to lead group Earth Altar ceremonies, create cohesive designs where everyones unique expression felt included and to create larger scale Earth Altars at festivals, community gatherings, retreats and private events.
Some specific questions she had before our call were: How do I lead multiple people through creating a cohesive design / pattern? How much materials should I bring? Is there a max amount of people? Do you set the centre piece before guesta arrive?
1:1 coaching call
How was the Coaching Session?
“It was honestly amazing! Prue is so easy to connect with, all of my questions were answered and I gained so much inspiration.”
How do you feel now after the call with me VS before the coaching guidance?:
“Before the call I felt kinda ‘meh’ in the group earth altar experiences I had led… Now i feel inspired and very clear on how i can lead a more connective creation process.”
What was your biggest takeaway from our session together?:
“How to set the container in the beginning and hold the space throughout the creative process”
Jayme has already been immersed in more collaborative Earth Altar events and I have felt like a proud mum watching the unfolding!
Do you plan on organising an Earth Altar workshop anytime soon? Or have you organised one already?:
“Yesss i have an outdoor workshop on Earth Day - I’m envisioning each quadrant being dedicated to an element and creating the Earth Altar around the base of a tree ”
I loved later seeing Jayme’s Earth Day dream come to life. Jayme shared that “the creation process was seamless, everyone ‘dropped right in’ and she couldn’t be more grateful for the beautiful humans who showed up for our Mother.”
Here are some beautiful photos from the event - or you can watch the video unfolding here
Was this session what you expected & desired?
“Yes & yes. This session brought me so much clarity and inspiration into how I can lead a better experience and continue to weave the magic of Earth Altars into group experiences with confidence..”
In which ways do you believe Earth Altars can uplift & improve your workshops and events?
“I believe Earth Altars have the power to create portals for prayer and presence in my workshops… bringing people into deeper connection with the elements and their creative abilities.”
What is your dream Earth Altar workshop vision?
“To facilitate during a retreat / festival where we start the creative process on day one and get to add to it and weave prayers throughout the days and watch how it changes”
Seeing the Earth Altar practice take shape in new places, with different materials, unique rituals and authentic expression continues to deeply touch me. A reminder of the importance of the living, breathing dialogue between people and the land - one that can unfold anywhere, from community gatherings to quiet personal rituals.
Jayme’s Earth Day altar was a beautiful expression of this practice, and I know it’s just one of many to come. I am so proud of Jayme for listening to this calling and excited to see how she continues to grow and evolve her work.
If you’re feeling called to guide Earth Altar workshops in your own events, I’d love to support you in bringing this practice to life.
My 1:1 coaching sessions are open, and I’d be honoured to co-create with you.
Thank you Jayme for trusting me, for taking action on your dreams, and of course, for helping me on my mission to spread this practice as far and wide as possible! 🙏🏽
It has been such a joy to witness your visions come to life and to see your events blossom with your own authentic flavour.
Supporting you on this journey has been an honour, and it means the world to me to know this practice is continuing to ripple outward through hands like yours.
Keep following the threads of beauty and devotion - you are creating MAGIC.
xx,
Prue.
